A Brilliant Idea: Spa Party Bus for Girls

After spending years in the sales and recruitment world, Tara decided to follow her passion for party planning. She always loved hosting parties, especially for her little one. One day, she noticed party bus cruising by and thought it was the coolest idea she had ever seen. And - that bus was for sale! Tara finally convinced her husband to buy the bus and transformed it with a little sparkle and a lot of love to create the Shine Bright Sparty Bus.

Now, the bus has hosted 365 spa bus parties in just the past two years!

All the Glitzy Details: Shine Bright Sparty Bus Events

Shine Bright Sparty Bus brings the party to you! Everything is on the bus and events are super easy for parents. Children attending are with the Shine Squad for the entire duration of the event.

Tara hosts every spa bus party in Atlanta with a team of three women who are also truly passionate about pouring love and light into young kids. They all work at a school, daycare, or as a nanny and are very good with children. “We have fun and have girl talk. We encourage them and bring out their confidence,” shared Tara.

The bus is fully decorated and customized for the birthday girl. Shine Bright Sparty Bus does all graphic design and creates personalized party accessories for each birthday girl and her friends.

During the event, partygoers get to enjoy the mini spa, doing nails, toes, facials, and eye masks. They go all out with full-on glam makeup, eye shadow, glitter, and face jewels. Then, they get dressed up for the fabulous fashion show! Girls choose tutus, princess outfits, furry boas, crowns, props, microphones, and more. Then – the lights are off and the party goes wild!

“The bus moves up and down when the dance party starts!” Tara explained. The event concludes with a fashion show as each girl walks individually on the pink carpet and joins in for the photo shoot.

What’s Included: Kids' Spa Bus Party Atlanta Packages

Shine Bright Sparty Bus offers four standard kids' party bus packages based on the duration of the event, ranging from 1-3 hours. All packages include:

• Pedicures

Additional activities can be added to each spa party bus package such as jewelry making, cookie decorating, and just about anything the birthday girl imagines.

All kids' birthday paries and events are hosted in the bus for birthday parties with up to 10 girls. Parties with more than 10 girls may rotate between the bright pink tent outside and an activity inside the bus.

Tell us what makes a Shine Bright Sparty Bus event so special.

We make each party personalized and extra special for the birthday girl and her friends. We really get to know the kids. I talk to every parent ahead of the party to get to know the birthday girl, her friends, what they enjoy - and personalize the event to them.

We put so much into making the birthday girl feel truly celebrated. We add touches like a birthday toast with glittery “champagne” and each girl says something they love about the birthday girl. At the end, the birthday girl says what she loves most about herself. We want to empower, inspire, and celebrate the girls joining our events.

What do girls love most about your events?

The girls love the dance party! We turn the lights out, have a disco party, give them all microphones - they never want the dance party to end. I actually had one client book us again for just the dance party!

Shine Bright Sparty Bus is growing so quickly! What are some of the new services you have added recently?

We recently added Shine Bright at Night, a slumber party package. We provide a slumber party host; one of us stays at the slumber party until the girls go to sleep. The event includes activities and a whole agenda for a supervised night.

Other new events include picnics or adding the bus as part of a larger event. We have also started offering party add-ons such as custom spa robes, tumblers, eye masks, and a mocktail bar.

Does Shine Bright Sparty Bus provide food and desserts?

We offer full-service birthday parties or parents can bring their own desserts, food, or treats. We have amazing businesses we work with to provide everything needed for the perfect party for girls, and we can make it even easier for parents wanting a full-service package.

What age is the best age for your spa bus parties?

We have had parties for girls as young as two and up to 16. We see ages 6-8 book the most often.

What areas of Atlanta does Shine Bright Sparty Bus serve?

We are based in Peachtree Corners but travel all over. We have hosted parties in Atlanta, Johns Creek, Buckhead, Brookhaven, Milton, Alpharetta, Sandy Springs, and even traveled to Newnan, Peachtree City, and Acworth.

As we wrap up, can you share your favorite part of hosting spa bus parties for girls?

While I do love the strategy and overall plan, my favorite part is really just being with the girls. These amazing young girls are growing, they are our future, and we want to inspire and encourage them. We tell them they are strong, they are brave, and we really view this as an opportunity to motivate and inspire.

I get to know the girls and their families; I call and check on them. I love watching them grow and aim to be a positive influence for them.

Each and every girl attending our parties becomes a part of our Shine Squad. This isn’t just a business; it’s about creating an experience. Every girl leaving one of our parties says it was the best day ever!
