We got to chat with Taryn Rioseco, Founder, Here We Grow, to hear all about their awesome events and birthday parties for kids. Let’s jump in!

Getting Started: Creating Connections for New Parents and Little Ones

Taryn and her family moved to Atlanta five years ago. A former theatre producer, she decided it was time for a career change and a shift in how she spent her time. So, Taryn became a birth doula and eventually a childbirth educator. From there, the business evolved into postpartum support and groups for new moms. She launched new and innovative ways of bringing moms around Atlanta together, offering music together, leading moms circles, and hosting family music classes. She quickly realized she could use her new certifications and education background to inspire other moms and offer fun and unique activities for babies, toddlers, and young kids. Here We Grow was born and has taken off across Atlanta.

All The Details: Music Class & Sensory Play for Parents & Littles

Here We Grow offers three types of birthday parties for babies, toddlers, and young children:

Ooey Gooey Play Parties: Perfect for baby birthday parties and toddler birthday parties, ooey gooey play parties, are themed, with three stations that all include messy play or process art, and various sensory activities. Play can be customized to fit your theme with recent themes including bugs, dinosaur dig, and mermaids. The party includes 75 minutes of activity with 3 sensory stations for 6-15 participants.

Music Circle Parties: For these birthday parties, the Here We Grow team brings instruments, props, puppets, parachutes, and more - leading the party in a super cute and fun musical experience. Activity is 35 minutes for 6-20 participants, with shared instruments provided.

Combine the Two: Include both ooey gooey play and music circle for the ultimate celebration. Includes 75 minutes of activity; music circle and 2 sensory stations for 6-15 participants.

Here We Grow also offers add-ons such as ooey gooey party favors or instrument bags for all participants to take home. The team handles all set-up and clean-up so birthday parties are a breeze for parents! The instructors comes to you or you can choose your favorite kids' party venue.

We asked Taryn about her favorite part of hosting parties for children; she told us, “To me, it’s all about connections; I love getting to connect with the birthday friends and make connections with parents. We need connection to thrive and survive in the same way we need sleep, water, and food. When people and families connect with each other, family members and friends, rich relationships are made.”
