Party planning questions, answered

FAQs

Not sure where to start? These are the questions Atlanta parents ask most when planning this type of party, with straightforward answers so you can make a decision and get back to the fun part.

How much does it cost to rent a water slide for a party in Atlanta?

Inflatable water slide rentals in Atlanta typically range from around $279 for a single lane slide to $900 or more for larger dual lane slides or units with a pool and slip n slide attached. You can compare exact pricing on dozens of water slides from local Atlanta vendors directly on Confetti Jar before booking.

How far in advance should I book a water slide rental in Atlanta?

Summer weekends fill up fast, so it's best to book your water slide rental in Atlanta at least two to three weeks ahead, especially for June through August dates. If you're planning around a holiday weekend like Memorial Day or the Fourth of July, booking a month out gives you the best chance at your first choice of slide and vendor.

Do I need a water hose for an inflatable water slide rental?

Yes, most inflatable water slides need to be connected to a standard garden hose for continuous water flow during the party. Make sure you have an outdoor spigot within hose reach of where the slide will be set up, and check with your vendor on the hose length they provide versus what you may need to supply.

What age is appropriate for an inflatable water slide rental?

Inflatable water slides are generally best for kids around age 4 and up who are comfortable climbing and going down a slide on their own. For younger toddlers, a low-profile slip n slide or a soft play setup is often a safer and more appropriate option.

How much space do I need in my yard for a water slide rental?

Space needs vary by slide size, but most single lane water slides need around 15 to 20 feet of length and dual lane or combo slides can need 30 feet or more, plus extra clearance on the sides and at the bottom for safe sliding. Always confirm exact dimensions with your vendor based on the specific slide you're booking.

Can I rent a water slide with a pool or slip n slide attached?

Yes, Confetti Jar's water slide collection in Atlanta includes options with an attached splash pool at the bottom as well as slip n slide style units for a longer water run. These are popular for backyard summer parties since kids get both the slide and a place to cool off at the end.

What happens if it's too cold or rains on the day of my water slide rental?

Water slide rentals are weather dependent, since most vendors won't run water features in cold temperatures or during active rain for safety reasons. Most Atlanta water slide vendors will work with you to reschedule, and booking through Confetti Jar also gives you backup support if your vendor can't make it.
