Rescheduling & Cancellation Policies

All fees are non-refundable. No refund will be issued due to inclement weather. No refunds are issued for cancellations. Bookings can be rescheduled if done 3 weeks prior to the event.
We reserve the right to cancel or change performers / characters for any appearance due to serious or contagious illness or injury of the performer or the performer’s family. In this situation, we will do our best to find a new performer for your event, howevr if we cannot, the booking deposit will be put towards a new available event date along with a coupon for the next time.

CANCELLATION POLICY AND PERFORMER COMMITMENT
1. Upon receipt of deposit and signed contract, Provider's performers commit exclusively to Client's event and decline other booking opportunities for the scheduled date and time.
2. No refunds will be issued for weather-related cancellations unless the venue is unreachable.
3. Cancellations made: - More than three weeks (21 days) before the event: Credit towards future event, less $50 administrative fee - Within three weeks (21 days) of the event: No refund, full payment required. Client understands and agrees that full payment is required as performers must be compensated for declining other opportunities
4. Change Fees: Changes made within 3 weeks (21 days) of the event incurr a 30% change fee.

What happens after I submit a booking request?

Once you submit your request, we check your vendor’s availability for your event’s location, time, and duration, and confirm within 24 hours. Your card won’t be charged until your booking is confirmed. As soon as it is, you’ll receive a confirmation email with all your event details.

Will my card be charged when I send a request?

No. Submitting a request saves your payment details so we can finalize your booking quickly once it’s confirmed. About 95% of requests are confirmed, and once yours is, your deposit is charged and the remaining balance is charged 7 days before your event. If your request can’t be confirmed, we’ll reach out as soon as possible with other options for your party.

What happens after my booking is confirmed?

Once your vendor confirms, you’ll receive a confirmation email securing the date and time of your event, so you can start planning with confidence. You’ll also hear from your vendor, who may reach out to confirm final details, discuss personalizations, or answer any questions you submitted with your request.

For packages over $400, a 50% deposit is charged when your booking is confirmed, and the remaining balance is automatically charged one week before your event. Then you’re all set for a fabulous celebration!

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for weekends and popular party times. Many vendors book out several months in advance. If your preferred date is available, reserve it now to secure your spot!

What time should I select when booking?

For most bookings, select the time you want your party to begin. For entertainment, choose the time you’d like the activity to start. Your vendor will follow up after booking to coordinate arrival and setup details to ensure everything is ready on time.

Will the vendor contact me before the party?

Yes. Your vendor may reach out before the event to confirm details, review any special requests, and make sure everything is set for the celebration.

What happens if my vendor is not available?

If your vendor isn’t available, we’ll contact you right away with backup options from other handpicked local businesses. Occasionally a backup option may be priced differently, so we’ll walk you through every choice before anything is booked. If none of the options meet your needs, your request is simply canceled and your card is never charged. There’s no commitment until your booking is confirmed.

How much space is needed for the activity?

Space requirements vary depending on the type of entertainment. Many mobile vendors can set up in living rooms, backyards, or community spaces. Review the package details for any space or setup requirements.

What if I need to reschedule my party?

Rescheduling policies vary by vendor. Review the Cancellation & Rescheduling provided by each vendor.

What if I need to cancel?

Cancellation policies vary by vendor and will be listed on the package page. If you need to cancel your event, please review the vendor’s cancellation policy or contact Confetti Jar support for assistance.
