Confetti Jar is redefining how families plan events for kids and teens, making it easier, smarter, and a lot more fun. Used by over 8,000 Atlanta-area parents each month, booking with 150+ local vendors on the platform, we’ve proven the demand for a better party-planning experience. Our platform has grown rapidly with a lean, one-person team and no outside funding. Now, we’re ready to scale, and we’re looking for a Head of Product & Technology to take our product to the next level, and beyond.

Your Mission

As our Head of Product & Technology, you’ll lead the evolution of Confetti Jar’s platform; designing and building an intuitive, AI-powered experience that revolutionizes how parents discover, plan, and book unforgettable events.

You will work closely with the Founder & CEO to define and execute the product strategy, drive innovation, and lead both design and technical development. From defining the roadmap to delivering breakthrough features, you’ll play a critical role in scaling our product and our impact.

You will help us scale the platform from 8,000 to 100,000+ families while maintaining exceptional user experience. Build vendor success tools and analytics that help our 140+ partners grow their businesses. Establish the technical foundation and team culture that will support rapid national expansion.

What You'll Do:

  • Own the end-to-end product and technology strategy for Confetti Jar

  • Design and develop an AI-first event booking experience with an intuitive and easy-to-use experience

  • Connect with customers and prospects to understand needs and challenges, then prioritize functionality to solve them

  • Set the product vision, define key performance metrics, and prioritize initiatives that drive engagement, retention, and revenue

  • Integrate AI tools to accelerate development and enhance personalization, automation, and efficiency across the platform

  • Collaborate closely with the CEO to continuously align product development with business objectives and customer needs

  • Hire and lead a world-class product and engineering team as we scale

  • Develop tools and dashboards that empower vendors to manage bookings, pricing, and customer relationships

  • Design scalable infrastructure that can handle 10x growth while maintaining performance

Who You Are:

  • A seasoned product and technology leader with 7+ years of experience building and scaling digital products, preferably in marketplaces or e-commerce

  • Experienced with AI-driven product development; from AI-enhanced UX to using tools that streamline engineering workflows

  • Technically proficient; you can lead, design, and build

  • Strong design sensibility and user intuition;  able to balance beautiful experiences with scalable systems

  • Insight-driven; you use data, research, and feedback to guide decision-making

  • Comfortable in fast-paced startup environments, and excited to lead through ambiguity

  • Mission-driven, visionary, and energized by the opportunity to create products that make people’s lives easier and more fun

  • Experience building marketplace or two-sided platform products with both consumer and vendor-facing features.

  • Track record of taking a product from early stage to significant scale (e.g., $1M+ ARR or 50K+ users).

  • Experience working in resource-constrained environments and making smart technical debt decisions

  • Strong communication skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts for stakeholders

  • Product-led mindset; you think like a product person first, using customer insights and market dynamics to drive every technical and strategic decision

  • Experienced in making strategic trade-offs between time-to-market and long-term scalability, knowing when to build for today vs. tomorrow in a fast-growing startup environment

Key Skills & Expertise:

  • AI tools for development (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Replit, Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codeium, Sourcegraph, CodeWhisperer)

  • Experience with modern design and product management tools (e.g., Figma, Notion, Jira, Linear)

  • Strong product execution, from concept and prototyping to launch and iteration

  • Experience shipping consumer-facing products with exceptional UX

  • Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels

  • Experience with modern web frameworks (React, Node.js, Python), cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), database design, and AI/ML technologies (OpenAI API, LangChain, vector databases, prompt engineering, RAG systems)

  • Experience with growth analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, Heap or other similar product analytic tools) and A/B testing platforms

Part-Time Social Media Manager

Are you a person who lives on Instagram and TikTok, knows what’s trending before it trends, and can whip up an engaging Reel in your sleep? Do you love creating fun, joyful content and believe that every day is a reason to celebrate? Then we’d love to meet you!

About the Role:

We’re looking for a creative, detail-obsessed, fun-loving Part-Time Social Media Manager to join our team (5–10 hours per week). You’ll help us grow our presence on Instagram and TikTok, create content that connects with moms, and bring our kid’s party brand to life online.

What You’ll Do:

  • Create and schedule engaging Reels, posts, and Stories for Instagram and TikTok
  • Be in the content — we’re looking for someone confident being on camera for fun videos and trend-based content
  • Track performance, analyze data, and optimize for growth and engagement
  • Stay on top of the latest platform features, trends, and best practices
  • Bring fresh, creative ideas to help us stand out in a fun, party-focused space
  • Engage with our community and help build a vibrant, loyal audience

What We’re Looking For:

  • You love Instagram and TikTok and are always up-to-date on what’s working (and what’s not)
  • Strong experience creating short-form video content
  • Data-driven mindset — you’re not afraid to dive into the numbers and test what works
  • Clear communicator who’s super detail-oriented
  • Comfortable being on video for occasional Reels or voiceovers
  • Positive, creative energy and a love for fun, joy, and parties
  • Prior experience managing or creating content for a brand or business account

Hours:
5–10 hours per week, with flexible scheduling. Opportunity for hours to increase as we grow. Remote, ideally local to Atlanta.
